Adams football is open to all boys attending Rochester Adams
High grades 9-12. Physicals are required before participation is allowed.
Adams participates in the Oakland Activities Association, and is a member of the
Michigan High School Athletic Association. Eighth grade boys interested in
participating should attend the May meeting to find out how to get involved in
the program. Boys already at Adams should plan on showing up beginning in
January, or if participating in winter sports, contact the coach. Watch
the web site for announcements.

 | Family Picnic. Everyone is invited to
attend the annual Brown and Gold Adams Football Family Picnic. Held
after the first week of two-a-days. Individual and Team pictures
are taken beginning at 7:30 AM. The squads
then participate in a
scrimmage. Beginning at 9:00, Head Coach Patritto reviews the
program for the parents and families. A brief presentation by
a representative of the Parent Action Committee reviews involvement
opportunities. Parents are encouraged to bring their planner (or Palm,
iPhone, Blackberry, etc. for
the digitally enlightened) as we will be taking sign ups for volunteers at
the games (e.g. bringing out the Bell, selling programs, etc.). This
is mandatory for the players and families are strongly encouraged to
attend. It is a great opportunity to get together
and meet the rest of the Adams Football Family. |
|
 | Pasta Parties. Before each home game for Frosh and
JV and before every Varsity game, the team reps feed the squad.
If you think your son is a 'big eater' catch them after practice
with 50 or so of their team mates. You get a new appreciation
for how much 'a football team' can eat! |
|
 |
 | Annual Awards Banquet. At the conclusion of the
season, all three squads are honored at the awards banquet.
Typically, a shortened version of the highlights video is shown,
along with individual awards for the team. |
