| Dominic Moran to Try-out for NY

lining up interviews for the first real job. For 6' 5"
Adams alum Dominic Moran (Class of 2002), who graduated from
Western Michigan University in April, at least one of his
interviews will not require a suit, but instead will be
conducted with the NFL New York Jets, in pads.
Moran received the call within minutes
of the close of the NFL draft Sunday to come to New York as a
free agent to try out for the team. According to Annette Moran,
Dominic's mother, "It was a very, very long day!" She and

Update on Michael Knill
Michael walked on to the University of Michigan
team this spring as a 5th
year senior. He tried out as a tight end (his position in High School)
but
they asked him to play defensive line. His number is 63.
He is now playing defensive tackle (behind Alan Branch) and travels with
the
team to most games. He saw some playing time in the Wisconsin game but
has
yet to record any statistics. This was Michael's first game experience
in 5
years.
With the team 8-0 and trying to reach the national title game, needless
to
say, everyone is pretty excited.
Michael is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology at U of
M.
A few firsts for Michael:
- he is the first, final-year of eligibility walk on ever taken by Lloyd
Carr
- he set the team record for the 225 bench lift (48 times) which is 2
more
than the previous high ever recorded for the NFL combine
- Coach Carr has given Michael senior status on the team and will be
receiving his M-ring on Nov 27th
- Michael also walked on at Michigan State back in 2003 but decided to
pursue academics at U of M and did not play for the team. This makes
him one of the few players that have been on both the U of M and
Michigan
State teams!
