running undefeated through the regular season and the district and
regional finals, the Rochester Adams Highlanders fall in a closely
contested battle 14-7 to Brother Rice. Congratulations on being
Regional Champions for three years in a row, and on a really outstanding
season. Best of luck to Brother Rice as they head to Ford Field
next Friday to face Hudsonville. |

Adams Alumni Alan Guy
named GLIAC Defensive Player of the week
Wayne State University sophomore linebacker Alan Guy (Rochester Hills,
Mich./Rochester Adams) has been selected Great Lakes Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week. Guy had
a team-best 12 tackles including 10 solo against Indianapolis. He
contributed five tackles for loss (-17 yards) including two sacks and
two quarterback hurries. Guy also had two solo tackles and one
assisted tackle for no gain. Wayne State travels to Allendale this
Saturday for a match-up against the top-ranked Grand Valley State
Lakers. |
